What is Online Strongman League?

Online Strongman League is a venue for virtual strongman competition. You compete with real equipment against real athletes, but you don't have to be in the same location; you use what you have wherever you are. Some events will have flexibility on what equipment you use, while others may be more restrictive. All restrictions are included in each events' details.

Who is Online Strongman League for?

  • Athletes wanting to compete who have a minimum amount of equipment.
  • Athletes affected by gym closures and event cancellations looking to remain competitive.
  • Athletes who find the cost of events and memberships to be prohibitive.

Online Strongman League is not recommended to individuals that do not have any weight lifting experience as a minimum level of strength and coordination is required to safely compete in strongman. There are inherent risks involved in strongman training and competition. Online Strongman League is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss incurred in training for or competing in strongman.

Membership

Membership is free and open to all; there are no annual dues. Registration fees for events may vary and are included in each events' details.

Competitions

Competitions may consist of single or multiple events and may be drawn out over several days. All competitions are currently organized as Facebook events. You may still compete without a Facebook account, but you must notify Online Strongman League in advance and submit entries to mail@onlinestrongman.com.

For each competition, the event standards will be laid out and competitors will record videos of their attempts and submit their entries to the event page. Attempts must be made and submitted before the deadline specified for each event. Submissions will be reviewed and athletes will be contacted regarding any errors, if necessary. Athletes may have the opportunity to correct errors and resubmit their attempts if they wish and if adequate time remains. Event results will be posted the following day.

Athletes are encouraged to contact us directly with any questions they may have. Failure to submit your attempt by the assigned deadline will result in a zero for that event. Advanced submission is encouraged to avoid errors and missed deadlines.
