And now for something completely different: an actual in-person strongman competition! For those close to (or willing to travel to) the Boise, ID, area, we are hosting a flesh, blood, and iron event on April 18th, 2021, at Settlers Park in Meridian, ID.
This will be an unsanctioned, novice friendly event with men's and women's divisions and only two weight classes per division. Events include a sandbag toss, circus dumbbell clean and press for reps, mystery deadlift with increasing weight for reps, front hold for max time, and yoke/sandbag medley. We are launching another virtual competition: the Quarantina Iron Mixer! Just like last time, our focus is to make this competition as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. You can do so many activities in the comfort of your parents' basement; and this time we're actually giving people adequate time to prepare for it too!

We are hosting our first virtual competition: the Shelter-In-Place Showdown! We do  plan to run some future events with more specialized equipment; however, to make this first competition as accessible as possible, events were chosen based on commonly available equipment using standards that could easily be replicated within a home gym. 
Events include a one arm press for max weight, deadlift for reps, front hold for max time, and zercher lift and carry for time.
